Waitin' for the end of the world. . .
Jun. 23rd, 2006 11:52 amThis LA Times story contains a number of interesting quotations that show that dispensationalist cultists are working to bring about the end of the world. This is their goal, and their prayer:
They are, of course, also working to induce the occupation government of Israel to take even more provocative stances; their bogus prophecies claim that tension in that area is inevitable, insoluble, and something to look forward to.
Tell you what. You keep on doing what you're doing: spreading false teachings in the Church. I will work on starting wars, famines, and plagues. Won't Jesus be proud of us!
We are called the "salt of the earth" — our continuing presence prevents the world from going completely rotten — and promised blessings for being "peacemakers." There is absolutely nothing in the authentic New Testament that suggests that we should try to force God's hand by bringing about Armageddon. It's time to call out dispensationalism as a false doctrine that potentially leads to war and mass murder.
"As we advance around the world," Davis said, "we'll be shortening the time needed to fulfill that Great Commission. Then, the Bible says, the end will come."
