The Democratic Party establishment will ultimately bear the blame for choosing such an uninspiring and tired candidate. I know current polls project her to win over Trump. I will expect that to change once she's indicted. It will be their fault entirely for lining up behind such a flawed and morally compromised candidate.

Once he secures the nomination, Trump has some leeway to move left. Trump's nomination, after all, represents the rejection of Republican Party establishment orthodoxy. The Republicans have painted themselves into a corner with their litmus tests and RINO hunts. Trump can reject that in ways that neither of the other candidates can. Trump has consistently stood for the renegotiation of Clinton-era trade deals. He's talked about getting money out of politics. He's even made some statements that suggest that he sees income inequality as a problem. Trump is all the hope you have left.

I hope we are in the middle of a political party replacement cycle, like when we lost the Federalists, and later, the Whigs. The established parties are going to offer us a choice between a Bourbon Street titty bar barker and Dolores Umbridge. Given that choice, I'm voting for the titty bars.

So, you would rather vote for a clown who has gone bankrupt several times and cost thousands of people their jobs, who has no respect for women, or for the environment, or for anything but making money and a name for himself.

My primary has not voted yet. I don't have to choose to vote with the Republicans or Democrats until I go to the polls.

What I'm saying right now is that there appears to be more of a point voting R, and not much point voting D, in the primary election. I can vote for Trump with the Republicans and send a message. I can vote with the Democrats and be ignored.

What happens in the general election, who can say at this point? My state is not one that usually has a voice in that process. If it's in play in the general election, I may have to hold my nose and vote for the harpy. If not, I will have the luxury of voting for a third party protest candidate.

On the Republican side, they're all racist bigots with no interest in the wellbeing of the country. One is a bit more blunt about it than the rest. The Republican party needs to change, and one candidate looks like a catalyst for that change.

The Democrats also need to change, but have proven more resistant to change. They chose to line up behind a secretive harridan who has no interest in the wellbeing of anyone but herself. She will say whatever it takes to be elected, and will throw her supporters under the bus once she is in power.

I have not seen Hillary throw people under the bus; I have seen a great deal of invective against her that she would not face if she were male. I am including yours in that category.

I remember Bill Clinton's presidency too well. Welfare "reform" and mass incarceration. Copyright extension and video game censorship. The Clintons threw their supporters under the bus the last time they were in power. The Clintons have a history of embracing all sorts of right wing ideas that will benefit their donors at the expense of citizens, or they think are popular for the moment.

None of this has anything to do with Hillary Clinton's sex.

Hillary Clinton sponsored an unconstitutional bill for video game censorship. She wrote that marijuana is eevil because it might lead to sex. She endorsed abstinence as sex education, and "school choice". Yes, there's a gender specific word for a woman who espouses that kind of drivel. Several, in fact; one in particular. This is Kyle's Mom territory.
